In the Mean Time...

>> Thursday, January 29, 2009

No, I don't have the pictures from Tennessee up yet, sorry to disappoint you! But rest assured, I'm not over here twiddling my thumbs-- just running in to a few bumps with scratch disks being full, PS malfunctions, etc. etc. (convenient timing, eh?). So anyway, I do intend on sharing some pictures, but for now this little peak in to Tennessee will have to do!

Also, I wanted to praise the Lord for His working in my life especially recently; He has answered so many prayer requests and honored such little decisions, that I just had to start keeping a journal of the divine appointments or obvious interventions of God as they come. After all, we are supposed to count our many blessings, right? :)

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Yes, I've Been Gone...

...In the heart of Tennessee! Sorry for the lack of posts here as of late, I'm afraid they'll have to wait yet a little longer until I return home next week.
I don't have my camera with me, but Melissa graciously lent me hers, so I will try and share some of the hills and trees here with you all when I am back to the flatlands of South Dakota... and near a USB cord or some other means to download! :)
Are you having a strong beginning to this new year? I know God has been very much at work in my heart, and trust He has been in yours as well!

I am continually with thee: thou has holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. For, lo, they that are far from thee shall
perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a-whoring from thee. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that
I may declare all thy works.
Psalm 73:23-28
